If selected as a Department Co-Lead, you will be paired up with another Department Co-Lead. The Department Leads will create a schedule closer to event giving consideration to everyone's preference in regards to a 24 hour period off-com/off-duty during the event.
If you don't think you're ready for full-on Leadership yet but are ready to know or learn more about what it entails? GREAT! Fill this out anyway and simply select '
Understudy/Leadership Development'. We will reach out to you with mentorship/shadow opportunities put in place to help anyone develop their future inner leader!
Below are some general expectations of the Department Leads, but alas, fear not! We have pretty solid support and resource systems in place to help you with getting acclimated once selected, especially if this is your first time as acting Department Lead.
PLEASE NOTE:
***We have a separate form for those interested in General Team Leadership, Working Groups, and Committees***

- Be cordial and professional with other members of leadership. We’re a small team with a LOT to do; you don’t have to like everyone, but you do need to be a team player. This is a volunteer role, but professionalism is expected to get the job done.
