EOI Form: Open Mic Session - Hatched Academy 2018
Are you an emerging new or experimental music soloist or group looking for performance opportunities?

In its very first year, Hatched Open Mic is your chance to present your own concert with direct in-kind support from Ensemble Offspring in production, marketing, venue-hire, experience and know-how.

Ensemble Offspring Artistic Director, Claire Edwardes, will choose 3 artists/groups to showcase their work in a 45 min set (each) at 107 Projects, Redfern on July 7. Claire will consult on your program and offer artistic advice. The EO team will help you bump-in and out, manage your FOH and assist with production, and at the end of your concert you’ll take home everything you made on the door! But the biggest benefit, of course, will be your chance to impress Ensemble Offspring's very own open-minded audiences and win some new fans.

Please note: Applications are welcome from artists not based in Sydney, however transport and accommodation costs incurred by artists travelling to Sydney will not be covered by the ensemble. There is no age limit for applicants. “Emerging” is defined here as an artist in the early stages of their career or someone who has yet to be significantly recognised.

TIMELINE AND SELECTION PROCESS FOR HATCHED OPEN MIC 2018:
Submit your EOI here before midnight March 30.
Offers made by April 13.
Successful applicants meet with the EO team to plan their event in early May.
Open Mic Sessions take place at 107 projects, Redfern on July 7, 2018.
