The Pantry at The Crediton Foodbank

We are seeing a number of households in our foodbank who are struggling with food insecurity on an ongoing basis, so we are trying a different way of helping them.

Alongside the emergency food packs we provide for those in food crisis, we are trialling a Food Pantry. Clients are invited to become a member of the pantry and for a small contribution they can choose what they require from a variety of food and household essentials. Our aim is to empower our clients, promoting independence and preserving dignity for those individuals facing the challenge of providing enough food for themselves and their families.
