Meerwald Charter Registration 2023-2024
Thank you for your interest in chartering the AJ Meerwald.
A chartered sail is 2- 3 hours long depending on port with a cost of $2500 (Non-profit pricing available)
The AJ Meerwald has a set limit of 50 total passengers.

You are welcome to bring food, beer or wine aboard (no hard liquor). Any entertainment (musicians, etc) that you bring aboard need to be counted in the total of 50 passengers. 

We ask for a 50% deposit on receipt of contract, and full payment within 30 days of your sail (unless other arrangements have been made.)
Our 2024 Port Schedule is being finalized. Our Sail Season begins in April, 2024- October 2024

  • April 30th- May 3rd: Bivalve, NJ (home port) 

  • May 8th-11th: Bristol, PA

  • May 13th-15th: *Trenton, NJ

  • May 17th-19th: Maritime Day at City Docks in Lewes, DE

  • May 21st- June 1st: Bivalve, NJ (home port)

  • June 4th-July 10th: TBD

  • July 10th - 14th: Alpine, NJ in collaboration with Tenafly Nature Center

  • July 18th-24th: Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, hosted by AHYC and AHHC

  • July 25th-31st: *Barnegat and NJ Shore Towns

  • August 2nd- September 13th: *Cape May Ferry Terminal in Cape May, NJ

  • September 14th- 22nd: Bivalve, NJ (home port)

  • September 26th-29th Artisans Faire/ The Bait Box in Greenwich, NJ

  • October 3rd- 8th: *The Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race from Baltimore, MD to Norfolk, VA

  • October 12th-26th: Bivalve, NJ (home port)

  • November 1st-3rd: Sultana Downrigging Festival in Chestertown, MD

  • Locations with an *asterisk are tentative. All dates listed are subject to change. Please check the available sails here before making plans.
