To celebrate the arrival of summer, we are excited to present two signature events in 2026: the Canada Day and the Xiang Loong Festival. Vendors are welcome to apply for one or both events.

The Canada Day Festival will bring a joyful national celebration featuring live entertainment, cultural showcases, community activities, and a bustling marketplace, offering a wonderful opportunity to engage with a diverse audience.

The Xiang Loong Festival will feature a vibrant kickoff celebration with dragon and lion dancing, live music and cultural performances, martial arts showcases, and a lively vendor market, creating a dynamic and festive atmosphere for the community.

We welcome all vendors to participate and be part of these exciting community celebrations.

We are now accepting applications for booth vendors for both events! Whether you’re selling food, merchandise, or crafts, we welcome all vendors. 

*Please note that priority may be given to vendors whose offerings align with the theme and atmosphere of the festival. The Centre reserves the right to make final decisions regarding vendor approvals.

Booth Details:

• Each vendor will be provided with one 2.5' x 6' rectangular table and two chairs
• Table covers are not provided
• If electricity is required, please bring your own extension cord
• Food vendors wishing to use the kitchen must request permission in advance

• Date: Canada Day Festival - July 1, 2026 (Wednesday) / Xiang Loong Festival - July 11, 2026 (Saturday)
• Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Venue: Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre (197 1st Street SW, Calgary)

Booth Rental Fee:

• General Vendors: $100 + GST per event
• Food Vendors: $150 + GST per event

Application Deadlines:

• Food Vendors: May 18, 2026
• All Other Vendors: June 1, 2026
