For the tutoring relationship to be a most beneficial one, tutors and tutees must treat each other with mutual respect. Tutees receive the benefit of the tutors’ free time during lunch, A period or Access at no monetary expense to them. Tutors and tutees must agree to the following and sign this contract.
1. Tutees must set up a regular schedule for when they will meet with their tutor.* If you cannot attend a meeting, you must give 24 hrs advance notice to your tutor. If you fail to do so, you will be warned and then if the offense is made again, you will be removed from the peer tutoring program.
2. Tutees cannot expect tutoring outside of school hours, since that is not affiliated with our program. If you wish for after school tutoring, then separate arrangements with the tutor can be made off school grounds and not during school hours.
3. Parents SHOULD NOT be the ones submitting the form or communicating with the tutor. Communicating with the tutor is the sole responsibility of the student needing tutoring.
