In sacred space, with much thought, planning, and excitement, the WWC Weavers have decided to continue with the Pay as You Can model for WWC 2018. We re-commit to our efforts to bring witches to Camp who might otherwise be unable to attend or for whom attendance is a financial hardship. We see renewing our commitment to this shift of our relationship to money as a powerful act of magic and trust in the abundance and values of our community. We see Camp as a living, breathing web of interdependence and that this changing relationship to money is just one way we can put our values into action. PAYC extends to everyone coming to camp--no matter their roles; includes Weavers, Teachers, Spinners...everybody. Some roles will receive stipends.
In addition, we have located and committed to a larger, beautiful new home, The Audubon Center of the North Woods which is a wildlife refuge on a deep and welcoming lake on over 500 acres that embodies many of the core values of our community including maintaining wild spaces and green energy sourcing as well as being very clean and well maintained.
