In the upcoming production of "Every Brilliant Thing" (by Duncan MacMillan), we are told of a young boy's attempt to keep his mother from her suicidal thoughts by creating a list of "every brilliant thing" in life, reasons to stay alive, a list that occupies him his entire life. At one point in the play we are shown the million items on the list, scribbled on pieces of paper, cardboard, pizza boxes, etc.
At this time, the Brilliant List is closed so that we can prepare all the bits and pieces for opening night!
