For the purposes of this survey, "recreational facilities" are either City-owned park properties, City-sponsored recreation activities, or other public or private properties used for active or passive recreation.
"Open space" is defined as any private or publicly owned undeveloped lands. These properties may be permanently protected or unprotected. They may be owned by non-profit organizations, corporations, private citizens, the City, the State, or other entity.
