Relay for Life Committee Fall 2021 Application
Thank you for your interest in Relay for Life at the University of Miami! The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is responsible for the life​-saving research, education, advocacy, & services for thousands of cancer patients and their families across the country. UM's Relay for Life committee is composed of individuals devoted to the cause and willing to make this organization a priority as we fund raise year-round in anticipation of our event in April 2022.

Individual Commitments:
• $200 fundraising goal
• 10 Luminaria donations
• 4 tabling hours per year

Member Expectations:
• Attend all committee meetings & major events led by the Relay for Life committee. Meetings during the fall semester are biweekly, while meetings during the spring semester are weekly.
• Be present at Relay for Life on April 5th, 2019.
• Communicate with chairs and e-board in a timely manner via Facebook and/or email & reach out to them for support.
• Attend subcommittees held by chairs or e-board members outside of committee meetings as Relay comes closer
• Make lifelong friends! Being a part of the Relay committee is an incredibly rewarding experience, & we are ecstatic that you are applying to join us on our journey to a bigger & better Relay for Life.
