Upgrade Suwannee River Basin Water Quality Standards in Georgia
All of Georgia's rivers in the Suwannee River Basin are classified as Fishing,
which is the least strict level for water quality standards.
WWALS (Suwannee Riverkeeper) thinks they should all be reclassified as Recreational,
and you can help.
Every three years, federal law requires each state to review its water quality standards.
This is such a year for Georgia, so the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GA-EPD)
is conducting a Triennial Review.
