The Australian Catholic Primary Principals’ Association Ltd (ACPPA) is the peak representative body for Catholic primary school Principals across Australia, advocating for their personal and professional development and wellbeing. ACPPA exists to provide representation and support for Catholic Primary School Principals for the benefit of their respective Catholic primary schools as they lead and inspire the heart, mind and spirit of Catholic primary school education. ACPPA's role is furthered by the objectives set out in the ACPPA Constitution.
In furtherance of its key objects and purposes, and with the support of Higgins Coatings, ACPPA has established a Principal Leadership Fund to provide support and assistance to principals, building their capacity, skills and comfort in their role. The Principal Leadership Fund is made available by ACPPA each year and is awarded to successful eligible applicants who submit an application in accordance with the relevant requirements.
Please note that the proposed opportunity must take place in the 2027 school year to be eligible.

SELECTION CRITERIA
A successful Applicant will identify the Principal Leadership Fund as a program or initiative that will provide support and assistance to the Applicant as an early-career Principal by enhancing their skills and building their capacity in one or more of the areas of:
Catholic Identity;
Wellbeing;
Learning and Teaching;
Finance and Stewardship; or
Building People and Culture.
ELIGIBILITY
To be considered for the Principal Leadership Fund, an applicant must be a Principal at a Catholic Primary School in Australia, with less than 10 years’ experience as a Catholic Primary school Principal.
The Principal Leadership Fund will be $10,000.00 in each School year. There is no set amount that is available to any particular applicant or recipient, provided the amount does not exceed $10,000.00.
The proportion in which the Principal Leadership Fund is awarded to successful Applicants, including the number of successful Applicants, shall be at the discretion of the subcommittee.
