You can nominate as many subsidies as you want, which are within or from Europe (so including ones to places and entities outside Europe) and are handed out by any government or other public institution of your choosing.
If you are looking for information on potential subsidies to nominate, have a look at the 'What are fossil fuel subsidies?' section of the Awards website where we have links to reports and databases on the issue and a map showing some of the main national subsidies in Europe.
HOW TO NOMINATE:
Submit your nomination(s) before the 1st of March.
Only one subsidy can be nominated per form submitted.
The questions are organised into the following sections:- who gives out the subsidy,- who receives the subsidy,- what form does the subsidy come in,- and why this subsidy should receive an award.
If you have any supporting resources you want to add (e.g. reports and photos), please indicate the relevant website addresses alongside your answers.
We also ask that you provide an email address so we can contact you if we have any questions regarding your nomination. This information will not be made public.
AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR NOMINATION:
You will be presented with the options to nominate another subsidy. An email will also be sent to you with a summary of your answers submitted as well as the possibility to re-edit them at a later stage.
If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com
Thank you in advance for your nomination(s)!
