Please note that applications are being accepted for stays of 1 to 3 months, with potential extensions of up to 3 additional months, starting June 1 and ending November 30, 2026.  
Are you considering bringing a pet? If so please give a complete description of the pet (species, age, breed, sex, weight/size, health, personality) and their previous experience around cats, large dogs, goats, chickens, coyotes, deer and other wild animals.  For the safety of all the beings on the farm, no animals can be accepted that present any risk of harm, stress, chasing or aggression to any of the resident animals or wildlife. Uncastrated male dogs pose special risks and will not be considered.
As a guest of Closer to Fine Farm you will be asked to sign a waiver and release form upon acceptance into the internship program in order to participate in farm activities.  By checking "I Understand" below, you are stating that you are applying for this internship fully aware that participating in activities on a farm or in a natural environment carries certain inherent potential risks, including harm or injury to yourself or others from falls, animals, insects, trees, plants, allergens, uneven ground or surfaces, broken or damaged items or other unanticipated injuries or events and that you consent to participate in activities at Closer to Fine Farm knowing and accepting full and complete responsibility for those risks. *

Residential guests are expected to donate between $250 to $500 each month to help cover the costs of their stay, including communal food, water, electricity, fuel and wood, use of on site resources, land and property impact,  and mentoring. 

Guests decide their own monthly contribution amount  based on a sliding scale and fair exchange.  

Guests who are unable to make cash contributions may barter their share - offering work, services or goods which may benefit Closer to Fine Farm.  All trades must be fair, equitable and mutually agreed.
