Local Food Network in Utah - Consumer Survey
A group of us, located along the Wasatch Front area of Utah, have identified the need to strengthen and enhance the local food distribution network here in our State. To meet this need, an effort is currently underway to set up an easily accessible and affordable means of purchasing locally sourced products (fruits & vegetables, meats, eggs, dairy products, and bread). This is being done as a means of ensuring that local consumers, producers, and distributors are all on the same page, and that everyone's requirements are being met.

The purpose of this survey is to gauge the interest of consumers in being a part of such a local food network. It would be most helpful to identify clusters of consumers, by location, to make distribution costs viable. The current plan is to allow consumers to place their orders online, and to pick what they need from the list of available products.
