We realize that this can be difficult as additional overheads may be calculated in a variety of ways. Feel free to use an estimate from a recent representative grant. An Attempt at Apples to Apples

To do so: (1) Prepare a grant for one academic year starting 9/1/2016. Include everything required to support yourself for one summer month and an RA for the entire calendar year. (2) Don't worry about how this interacts with any other active grants and just pretend that you don't have any. (3) Don't budget any equipment or include other fees unless required by your department or school. (4) Do get to one month of actual summer salary, even if you have to budget more than one month because your department requires you include academic year support.
