Make a Difference Day - Planting at Fidalgo Bay Graber
Saturday, October 26, 2019
Come celebrate Make a Difference Day by planting native species at our Fidalgo Bay Graber site. The Fidalgo Bay Graber Conservation Area is situated on the side of Hwy 20, downstream of Whistle Lake. This area provides natural filtration of water entering Fidalgo Bay. It also provides habitat for a variety of native wildlife including bald eagles and other raptors, coyote, deer, downy woodpecker, flying squirrel, garter snake and northwest salamander.
Skagit Land Trust will provide tools, gloves, and refreshments. Please make sure you wear clothing appropriate for the weather.
Parking is very limited at the site and we strongly encourage carpooling. We will be meeting at The Store in Anacortes at 8:50 and carpooling to the site from there. If you can, plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can stop in the The Store to grab one of their awesome muffins!

**** Please note, while we love dogs, and leashed dogs are welcome to most Skagit Land Trust properties, we ask that you keep them at home for these events. This will ensure the comfort of all guests at our work parties and other events and increase the chance of seeing wildlife.
