Artist Residency: Steve Seskin Operation Respect Bullying Prevention Assembly and/or Songwriting Sessions

Grammy-nominated songwriter Steve Seskin has been a part of the Honeywell Foundation Education program for more than ten years. In 2018, Steve will visit schools the weeks of October 1st - 5th and 8th - 12th. He offers two programs:

A one-hour bullying prevention focused assembly for students in grades K - 6 which is built around his hit song "Don't
Laugh at Me."

An all-day program that involves three songwriting groups, creating a song about an important theme for your school
like being kind to one another. After the three sessions, Steve will perform his full-school assembly which will include a
premiere of the newly-written song by the students who helped write it. Steve keeps a like to all of the student
written/performed songs on his website www.kidswritesongs.org.

*Please keep in mind that requesting an artist does not guarantee they will be scheduled for your school. We often receive more requests than available time slots. Geography is also a factor as our artists visit schools in 12 northern Indiana counties.
THIS PROGRAM NOT LONGER HAS AVAILABILITY FOR FALL 2018
