THIS APPLICATION IS JUST FOR PIMA FASTTRACK PROGRAMS. STUDENTS IN CREDIT PROGRAMS SHOULD COMPLETE THE APPLICATION ON SCHOLARSHIP UNIVERSE.
SPPS financial assistance is provided through support from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith, and Family. Award funds will cover the full cost of in-state tuition, course fees, and textbooks for eligible learners during the award period.
To be eligible, an applicant must 1) Live in Pima County 2) Enroll in a qualifying short-term training program at Pima Community College, and 3) be a single parent with a dependent child
Please note that the following conditions apply to SPPS financial awards:
- Financial assistance is currently available for credit-courses and non-credit programs (PimaFastTrack) beginning in the Spring 2025.
- Funds are not refundable or transferable.
- Funds would be applied directly to your bursar account (credit programs); no cash is provided directly to recipients. For FastTrack programs, students will receive Coupon Codes to be used when registering.
- Funds expire 60 days after they are awarded - a separate application would be required for funds to be reinstated.
