St. Louis Promise Zone Federal Grant Certification: Terms and Conditions

The St. Louis Promise Zone is a federally-designated geographic area that catalyzes unprecedented opportunity for focused collaboration, regional alignment and transformative change that will drive regional growth to create a better, more inclusive St. Louis Region. The federal grant certification process is designed to ensure applicants are engaged in activities which further the goals of the Promise Zone.

Please allow five (5) business days to receive a response regarding your Certification of Consistency. Applicants do not need a completed grant application to request certification. To request certification for your grant application, please provide the following information:

By request and receipt of the Certification of Consistency the grantee agrees to provide the following required documentation to the St. Louis Promise Zone Director within five (5) business days of submitting the grant application to the respective federal agency:

 Copy of submitted grant application with all required attachments per the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). Digital copies sent by email or FTP are preferred.
Additionally, if the applicant is awarded the grant, the applicant agrees to provide the following to the Promise Zone Director for the duration of the grant period:

 Copy of all reports submitted to federal agencies, including annual reports, budget updates, data measures/performance reports, etc.

 Copy of fully executed federal grant agreement.
Lastly, the awarded applicant agrees to include logos for the St. Louis Promise Zone and the granting federal agency (ies) on all advertisements for the program.
