Puppy Preference Questionnaire
This questionnaire process helps us stay organized and aware of those who are interested in our pups when we are in process and in between litters. There is no obligation to purchase and no application fee for submitting this questionnaire. It just helps us to email the availability announcements that best fit your preferences. We want to encourage families to be as honest as possible with their answers as it will help us give the best guidance possible in finding the right home for each puppy.  

For puppies available soon, we will send approved families announcement emails regarding availability after they are born happy and healthy. Sometimes litters are sired by our studs Doc or Wyatt and raised by another trusted breeder. We often facilitate pick of the litter pups for those, and in some cases, multiple families can move forward toward adoption. Those pairings vary as far as certifications, pricing, and what is included, based on that breeder's situation. Puppies go home approximately 8 weeks after birth. Our iIN-HOUSE pairings are raised in our family room, pampered and socialized in our home & include ENS, ESI, microchip & enrollment in a 4 week puppy training course.

For more affordable options:  Our stud Doc (red golden), UC Davis tested clear of genetic diseases and OFA CHIC certified (heart, hips, elbows & eyes), & his son Wyatt, (Embark tested clear and OFA certified (heart, eyes, hip/elbows) are often in demand with other local breeders so we generally can arrange for first pick and referrals on any further availability. Pups currently available from those pairings (AKC Limited or CKC, no breeding) are currently ranging from about $2500 to $3900, light/medium and dark golden. Darker red and golden puppies from parents with more certifications may cost a little more. Full registration (breeding rights) is not included and is at our discretion, albeit rarely granted. If you want full registration, we are glad to provide a referral. Deposits for current & upcoming litters begin after we email birth announcements which are sent to families who submit this questionnaire.

Our in-house litters: Our hard-to-find dark/red golden pups by our dark red female(s) and our red golden studs, are raised in our home, once or twice a year, out of genetically tested/cleared parents with OFA certifications. Our pups are raised as part of the family, handled from day one and we also do Early Neurological Stimulation & Early Scent Introduction exercises for two weeks with each puppy individually. We also have a professional 4-week training course to support our puppy families for their first month home (included). Our dark red in-house puppies were approximately $3875 AKC Limited in 2024 (no pups for breeding), and we have new pups recently born for April 2025 adoption. Our studs Doc & Wyatt also have other golden pups available in the meantime. Families who submit the application will receive priority email announcements regarding availability relevant to their preference of timing, shade and budget. Deposits for our litters begin after we email birth announcements to our interest list. Those who respond to these time-sensitive emails promptly are given priority to move forward.
