In return for being allowed to participate in volunteer/vendor activities and all related activities, including any activities incidental to such participation (“Volunteer Activities”), the Volunteer or Parent/Legal Guardian of Volunteer if Volunteer is under age 18 (hereafter referred to using “I”, “me”, or “my”) releases and agrees to not sue Warren City Pride, or its officers, directors, employees, sub-contractors, sponsors, agents and affiliates (“the Foundation”) from all present and future claims that may be made by me, my family, estate, heirs, or assigns for property damage, personal injury, or wrongful death arising as a result of my participation in the Volunteer Activities wherever, whenever, or however the same may occur.

I understand and agree that the Foundation are not responsible for any injury or property damage arising out of the Volunteer Activities, even if caused by their ordinary negligence or otherwise.

I understand that participation in the Volunteer Activities involves certain risks, including, but not limited to, serious injury, and death. I am voluntarily participating in the Volunteer Activities with knowledge of the danger involved and I agree to accept all risks of participation.

I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the foundation for all claims arising out of my participation in the Volunteer activities.

I understand that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Michigan in which the Volunteer Activities take place and agree that if any portion of this Agreement is invalid, the remainder will continue in full legal force and effect.

I also acknowledge that Warren City Pride has not arranged and do not carry any insurance of any kind for my benefit or that Volunteer (if Volunteer is under 18), my parents, guardians, trustees, heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns. I represent that, to my knowledge, I am in good health and suffer no physical impairment that would or should prevent my participation in Volunteer Activities.

I further acknowledge that my participation may result in my likeness being recorded by photograph, video, or audio and that I grant the foundation the right to use these images or recordings for promotional purposes such as but not limited to social media, print, and promotional video.

I also understand that this document is a contract which grants certain rights to and eliminates the liability of the foundation.

Dress Code:

This is a family friendly event. Dress appropriately for the weather while maintaining a family friendly attire. Anyone who is asked to change that does not have a change of clothes will be asked to purchase a Warren City Pride shirt or be asked to leave.

Safety Protocol:

For the safety of everyone in attendance it is everybody’s responsibility to keep all walkways and stage area clear of tripping & slipping hazards, including but not limited to glitter, confetti, and liquids of any kind. Any cords, string, or rope must be taped down and fully visible.

Prohibited Items:

These items are not allowed to be brought into the festival. I agree that all prohibited items included in the Foundation policy/guidelines must be kept at home. I agree that if I am asked by the Foundation to remove products from displays I must do so or will be escorted off property without a refund.

Weapons - Firearms, knives, tasers, clubs, pepper spray, hazardous chemicals, explosives, or incendiary devices of any kind. Any items that security determines may have an adverse effect on the event.
Umbrellas - Larger than a golf umbrella.
Bicycles, Skateboards, and inline skates.
Drones - remote-controlled aircraft, cars, or toys.
Flyers, samples, giveaways, or promotional items - unless they are from a registered exhibitor. Keep all political messages to local politics.
Air Horns
Laser Pointers, Confetti, or Glitter.
Poles, including ones used for banners.
