2020 Growth Circles Washington, D.C. Application
Please answer questions in complete sentences. Remember to be descriptive and provide as much detail as possible in your answers (only 15 students will be selected). We want to learn more about you. You may need to do some research to answer these questions. Please be sure that the answers you submit are YOUR OWN WORDS - they should not be copied and pasted from your research.
To complete your application, you must:
-turn in a signed permission slip with a $50 contribution to Growth Circles to be put towards the cost of your trip. Your contribution will be refunded if you are not selected to attend the trip. See Mr. Julius for permission slips.
-submit a letter of recommendation from an adult who is not a parent or guardian
-submit your first-trimester report card (by December 1)
Please also be aware that if you are selected to attend this trip, you will be expected to write a 3 paragraph thank you letter to donors when you return.
Applications are due November 1, 2019. If your application is incomplete, the application reviewers will ask you to revise and resubmit your application, so take care to submit a thoroughly completed application. There is a link to a document with examples of complete and incomplete responses on the Growth Circles website, right next to the link to this application. Selected students will be announced on January 15. Good luck!
