We’re here to help! A key part of the Institute’s mission is providing legal assistance to designers and fashion industry professionals, not only in the form of educational programs but also by offering free legal consultations. As an Organization, we realized that there was no fashion-specific pro bono legal program available, and that many emerging and independent designers lacked access to basic legal advice tailored to the fashion industry.  we set out to fill that information gap.

We are proud to announce that the Fashion Legal Clinic is now a registered member of the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network. This membership aligns with our commitment to advancing sustainable development goals in the fashion industry, fostering inclusive and ethical practices.

Schedule a free 45-minute session with an FLI Lawyer to have your questions about starting a business or organization, creating or reviewing contracts, and copyright and trademark issues related to your  Fashion, creative business or artistic practice answered. Limited number of appointments available.

Online Platform: Google meeting. All appointments will be conducted one-on-one via Google with a Lawyer. Once registered and assigned a time, you'll be sent information for how to log into your meeting.
