Fiscal Year 2020 - Capital Funding Request Form
Thank you for your interest in Manhattan Delegation funding for Fiscal Year 2020 (July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020). While the Manhattan Delegation does not get to directly allocate Capital funding, we are able to support as a Borough Delegation those capital projects that will benefit the borough of Manhattan. Those projects that the Delegation supports will be submitted in priority order to the Speaker of the City Council asking for the Council to fund these projects through Citywide capital funding.

Please note that this application is a supplemental application. If you are applying for Non-City Capital Funding, you will also need to submit an application through CapGrants: If you are applying for funding from the Manhattan Borough President's Office, you must submit this application by ***February 20, 2019 at 5PM***. If you are applying for Council funding only, the deadline is ***March 26, 2019 at 5PM***. We are not able to grant extensions.

Requests for funding that are submitted to the City Council are considered public documents.

Eligibility: Capital Funding has stricter eligibility requirements than discretionary funding. Please carefully read the Capital guidelines: to see if your project is eligible.

Those applications for improving a City-owned building, including most schools, or City-owned land such as public parks are considered City Capital projects; if your project fits this category, you will only need to submit the following application below to be considered for Manhattan Delegation support.

If you have questions regarding this application, please contact Marisa Maack at or 212-788-6975 or Amy Slatttery at or (212) 788-7259.
