Senior Care Volunteer Review
Hi there! Thanks for watching our video training about how to be a Senior Care Volunteer. Before getting started, please take this quick review to ensure that you're ready to go!
Which of these is not one of the 5 questions to ask a senior?
How are you feeling/processing during this time?
How are you staying connected?
Are there any supplies you need? Do you need anything?
Do you attend Journey of Faith every Sunday?
How can I be praying for you at this time?
Were you able to access Sunday service?
How can you safely deliver items to a senior?
Drop off the items off inside of their house, use gloves to put all food in the refrigerator for them.
Drive up and having the senior come to your car, make sure the items are in the back seat.
Using your sleeve or gloves to carry the items to the front door. From there, ring the doorbell and back up more than 6 feet; wait until they come outside to pick it up.
If a senior needs help and you aren't able to assist (for any reason), what should you do?

If a senior has a prayer request, how should you follow up?
Send them an email with their request and ask if there's any other way we can connect with them; ask a follow up question.
Just add them to your own person prayer list and leave it there.
