Urban Stewards Program - Youth Field Trip Form
  Thank you for considering our Urban Stewards field trip program. We are pleased to share our field trip program is fully booked for the remainder of the 2023-2024 academic year.  The education team at the CHLG is no longer receiving field trip requests at this time. We thank you for your understanding and please do continue to request tours or workshops. 

   The Urban Stewards field trip program offers field trips on Monday, Wednesday, Thursdays, and Fridays. We welcome you to schedule your field trip utilizing the form below, available dates are noted in the calendar.
Project Learning Grantees are welcome to continue to request tours to fulfill their grant requirements. 

   Please note that the College Hill Learning Garden student capacity is at 40 students.

  • The Urban Stewards Field Trip Program at College Hill Learning Garden covers topics on eco-literacy, urban sustainability, and green infrastructure. 
  • We prioritize schools and groups directly impacted by the SFPUC's services. 
  • Groups are welcome to request a single field trip (1 or 2 topics), multiple field trips covering a series of topics, or 7-8 field trips over the course of the year to address each topic individually. 
  • Lesson objectives and activities will be adapted to suit grade level. Specific requests can often be accommodated; please add them to the notes section at the bottom of this form.

School field trips and tours are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. 
What is your preferred time frame? *
Urban Stewards Program field trips are 3 hours long and include a 10 minute snack break and 30 minute lunch break (snack and lunches are not provided). Please choose a 3 hour slot between 9:45am and 1:45pm when you would like to bring your class to College Hill Learning Garden. 

If your class is in high school or middle school, please suggest what 1-3 hour time frame in the "other" section  is best(given students' period schedules). 

Tour and workshop requests: please suggest a 1-2 hour period between the working hours of 3pm and 5pm. 
Please let us know if you prefer snack and/or lunch at a specific time. Otherwise, snack will be the first ten minutes upon arrival, and lunch will be the last 20-30 minutes.
Food is not provided; please bring your own snacks and lunches.
