Express interest in upcoming Google Classroom pilots
As part of the Google for Education pilot program, we’re testing out several new Google Classroom features and updates this year. Express interest in these pilots with this form, and we’ll reach out if your institution may be a fit.
  • Learning standards and skills: Educators can now tag coursework with relevant learning standards or skills and view new analytics of student performance. To start, Classroom will include U.S. K-12 national and state learning standards published on 1EdTech Consortium's Satchel Rosetta Exchange (formerly called CASE Network 2), including NGSS, ISTE, ACT, among others. Soon, Classroom will include learning standards from additional countries, so express interest in the pilot and let us know what learning standards your institution wants included. 
  • Redesigned Classroom homepage: Through this pilot, students, teachers and school admin staff will gain access to a redesigned version of the Google Classroom homepage, which will include modules for students to understand upcoming due dates and easily get to their content, teachers to stay on top of work they need to review, and for teachers and admins to easily access our newest tools, features, and resources to help support educators.
  • Insights for teacher-led NotebookLM and Gems in Classroom: Educators will soon see actionable insights around how students are interacting with teacher-led Gems and NotebookLM, providing opportunities for a transparent, reflective approach to AI learning experiences.
