Cal Hacks 9.0 Mentor Registration
Thank you for your interest in mentoring for Cal Hacks 9.0 - we're excited to hear from you! Cal Hacks 9.0 is our next flagship event, taking place in-person in San Francisco on October 15-16, 2022.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about using their expertise to guide our hackers as they explore new technologies. We love mentors that go above and beyond, such as mentors that follow up with the progress of teams hacks throughout the event. Mentors will have the opportunity to either mentor hackers in-person or virtually.

The deadline to sign up to be a mentor is Friday, October 7, 2022, EOD. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, feel free to email or!

Note: We unfortunately can't reimburse travel costs :(

You don't need to know all of these to be a mentor! We are looking for people who are really good at doing one or two things. If you're experienced with particular frameworks/topics not listed below, please list them in one line under "Other".
Walk us through the steps you took to help someone debug an issue. *
What was the issue? What did you do to have them learn from their issue, while guiding them forward on their project? Write as many or as little words as needed. The issue doesn't have to be technical (e.g. a design critique).
I will be available to mentor during the weekend of Cal Hacks 9.0 (October 14 - 16, 2022). I understand that I cannot hack if l am chosen to be a mentor. *
Cal Hacks 9.0 will be happening primarily in-person in San Francisco.

Are you available to come in-person during the weekend of Cal Hacks 9.0?

If you can't, that's okay! You can still help hackers through dedicated Slack channels virtually.
When are you free to mentor (PST)? (Though the options are divided into 4 hour slots, you do not need to mentor for all 4 hours; you only need to mentor a minimum of 1 hour in the slots that you select.) *
What's your address? (So we can send you swag!!) *
