PROCEDURES FOR THE WITHDRAWAL OF MEMBERSHIP
1. Submit withdrawal request online.
2. Pursuant to ADBEMC BR No. 2003-19, you are required to surrender the following (as applicable):
a. Share Capital passbook;
b. Regular Savings passbook;
c. Time Deposit certificate;
d. SM Guarantor Card;
e. Issued Share Capital certificates (ADBEMC member before 2003);
f. Duly notarized Affidavit of Loss, in case of loss of any or all of the above.
3. The summary of accountabilities will be prepared by ADBEMC. Should the accountabilities exceed the share capital, savings, and time deposits (if applicable), the deficit should be settled in coordination with ADBEMC staff.
4. Upon settlement of the deficit or completion of the documents, sign the Quit Claim Form.
5. Members without outstanding accountabilities, will be contacted for the release of check proceeds. Processing time is within 60 days upon receipt of withdrawal request.
6. Re-application for membership is one year after membership withdrawal, subject to the approval of the Membership Committee (applicable only for those that are still active or ADB Filipino Retirees). As a new member, category and entitlements to loan products and benefits will also be subject to the terms and conditions for the new members.
