Twin Cities Black Journalists Convention Scholarship 2019
The Twin Cities Black Journalists chapter is offering a $1,000 scholarship for a college student or recent graduate in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota area to attend the National Association of Black Journalists Convention and Career Fair in Miami from Aug. 7-11. The scholarship is expected to help cover the cost of convention registration as well as hotel and travel expenses. In addition to the scholarship, the recipient will be matched with a professional journalist from TCBJ who will serve as a mentor. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE MAY 24. SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a college student or recent graduate who currently resides in Minnesota or is from Minnesota but attending college out of state
Must have an interest in journalism as a career
Must be able to attend at least 3 of the 5 days of the convention
