Animation Y'all Expo -                                            Inbetweener's Application Form
We are thrilled that you want to be a part of our Animation Y'all Nashville Expo (AYX) Team, on April 2-4, 2027.

Please take a few minutes to fill out this form to let us know you are interested in applying for our Animation Y'all! Expo 2027. 

As soon as we open up for interviews, you will receive an email about that process.


The best conventions have the best teams, so we want YOU to help make Animation Y’all! Expo the best experience for artists, exhibitors, presenters, and attendees alike!


All accepted In-Betweeners will receive a free badge, which allows access to AYX even when not on shift (this is ONLY for the day you work; if you want to attend AYX on the remaining day, that ticket will need to be purchased). 

In-Betweeners will also receive an exclusive volunteer T-shirt to let everyone know you are part of our team (this shirt MUST be worn while you are volunteering.)

Details you need to know:

*Inbetweeners will all be interviewed for this position by our Inbetweener  Manager.

*Inbetweeners MUST attend the training Zoom call a few days prior to the Expo start date.

*Inbetweeners will receive a FREE ticket to attend the Expo ON THE DAY you work.

*Inbetweeners are responsible for ALL their own travel, food, parking, and lodging.

*All Inbetweeners must be 18 years of age, or older, by March 15, 2027. 

*Inbetweeners will be paid minimum wage, per the rate of the state of Tennessee (the current minimum wage is $7.25 per hour). 

* Inbetweeners will receive their payment no later than April 30, 2027.


Please Note: Given that there are still volunteer openings, you will be contacted by one of the Animation Y’all! Managers for a camera-on Zoom interview upon completion of this application. This is a REQUIREMENT.

Please note: these spots are on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Indicating your preference does not guarantee that date, nor is there an opportunity to choose the shifts you will be assigned. 

While you may choose one or more of the dates below, you will only be serving on ONE day unless otherwise agreed upon. 

You will be assigned to a shift that will last no longer than four (4) hours and may be standing for your entire shift.

All shifts will happen between the hours of 8:00am-7:00pm, each day of the Expo.

You must be available to check in with the Inbetweeners Manager 15 minutes before your shift begins.

LIST OF POSSIBLE DUTIES:

You will be assigned to one of a variety of Inbetweeners duties. 

All shifts are at least two (2) hours but not more than four (4) hours. 

The Inbetweeners duties may require that you stand for the entire two (2) to four (4) hour shift. 

The following is a list of some, but not all, of the duties/assignments:

* Load-in/Teardown
* Registration Table for Main Guests
* Registration Table for Volunteers/Exhibitors
* General Information and Directions
* Door Attendant (for panels)
* Line Attendant (signings and registration)
* Runners and Miscellaneous
