Fall 2025 // CAAI Research Support Application
Complete this form to apply for support from the Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) in the form of financial support or pre-doctoral candidate hours.

Projects likely to be supported will include some combination of the following:
  • Significant use of machine-learning methods
  • Application of AI to business/society
  • Novel research question
Financial support may be used for any helpful activity; for example, to fund ongoing research operations, conduct surveys, or purchase datasets. Invoices are typically required to provide funding. A maximum of $15,000 per project is available. Please note that we are unable to offer financial support for the hiring of RAs, RPs, or PRs. Such requests should be directed to the faculty dean.

Support in the form of research professional time can be 0.5 to 1 FTE for one quarter, renewable.
