Jodi Zeier Equine Advancement Award - 2022 Application
Jodi was an influential supporter of youth, education and the Arabian Horse industry in Colorado. She was an exhibitor, local club leader, served on many committees for the Arabian Horse Association, USEF Steward, 4-H leader, judging coach and elementary teacher. To recognize her dedication to the breed and lifelong learning philosophy, this award has been created in her name to provide financial support to a Colorado equestrian in their quest to contribute to the Arabian Horse industry.
Any individual over age 18 with a current Colorado Arabian Horse Club membership and high school degree is welcome and encouraged to apply. Up to two candidates annually, who show intent to learn about, contribute to and further the Colorado Arabian Horse industry, will be awarded $1,000 each. An individual may receive this award up to two times in their lifetime.
Examples for use of this award can include, and not be limited to: Judges School, show secretary training, farrier education, internship, Veterinary Technician training, apprenticeships, show officials experience (secretary, scribe, ring steward, announcer, paddock manager, photographer, etc.), startup of lesson or Discovery Farm program or riding camp preparation and execution. Selections will be based on: desire to learn about, contribute to and further the Arabian Horse industry and potential of future impact on the industry.
This award is funded by the Half-Arabian, Arabian & Amateur Association of Colorado of which Jodi was a founding member, supporter and President.
