Resource Table Application Form—Due October 27, 2018
Resource Table Information (Please note that if you are an educator and your exhibit includes curriculum, you need to fill out a Curriculum Exhibitor Form instead):
Please know that TSJ is an entirely volunteer and unfunded organization—we ask for a sliding scale contribution to help us pay for the CF. Groups who want a resource table make a $20 contribution if you are (like us) an unfunded, volunteer group—$40 if you have funding/staff. And if anyone absolutely cannot do it, we will waive the contribution. Thank you for your solidarity!
Resource tables are generally for organizations that produce resources for educators. We look for resources that are pro-justice, anti-racist, critical, multicultural, activist, and work toward this year's theme "From Puerto Rico to Chicago: Reclaiming and Reimagining Our Communities."
Process: Complete the application. You may submit your materials at a later date, please meet the deadline for this form!
After you submit this form, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. We will review each application and respond by early November. We have limited room for resource tables and we get more resource table applications than we have room for. We also give priority to teachers exhibiting their curriculum and we reserve the right not to accept resources that fail to meet the TSJ principles. For more info, see link: http://www.teachersforjustice.org/2007/09/about-tsj.html
Resource tables accepted for the Curriculum Fair MUST bring their own table. Each resource organization is reserved 5-feet of space. Fair Day Information: We ask resource table people to set-up tables by 9:45am sharp. We will assign you a specific space. Please do not come earlier than 9:00 am unless it is to help us all set up. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT RESOURCE TABLE APPLICANTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN TABLES.
Please encourage students, parents and co-workers to participate in this city-wide event.http://teachersforjustice.org/
