ASG Student Application Form 2026
Dear Prospective Neuroscience & Psychology PhD Students,

We are a group of current NYU Neuroscience & Psychology PhD students who would like to help you with your PhD applications. We want to support anyone who is applying to US-based PhD programs by offering free general application review, 1-on-1 mentorship, and insight into the NYU program.

Applications open July 15th and close September 15th. We encourage everyone to apply. We particularly encourage students from underrepresented groups to apply. As NYU grad students, we proudly represent diverse backgrounds and can empathize with students undergoing stressors related to being an underrepresented minority, first-generation student, LGBTQIA+, immigrant, and more.

Please note that enrollment in the Application Support Group does not affect how your application is reviewed by the Admissions Committee nor does it guarantee admission or invitation for interview to NYU. This a student-run initiative by the NYU grad student council, NeuroPIL (https://nyu-neuropil.github.io) and all personal information will be kept confidential from NYU faculty and administration.
