The LCMS offers a limited number of scholarships for children, teens, and adults to participate in classes at the museums. Scholarships apply to classes at each museum, including art programs, science camps, summer camp and history/cultural workshops. Scholarships are intended to provide financial assistance to individuals interested in museum classes, and, if awarded, the scholarship covers 100% of the class tuition and required supplies.
Scholarship applications for Fall classes must be received by July 31 for classes September 1 – December 31.
The Scholarship Application is separate from the Course Registration. If you receive a Scholarship Award, you will also register for your selected course during the open registration period. The Award will cover your full cost of attendance, however money will not be provided to Awardees.
Supplemental documents must be received prior to any scholarship awards. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for qualifying applications. Students applying for a scholarship cannot register for class in advance. Scholarship applications are accepted each trimester and are destroyed at the end of the selection process.
Email supplemental documentation (proof of need) to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would prefer to submit information via snail mail, direct it to:
