SAR Committee / Work Group Involvement
The following Committees and Work Groups will need members for 2024.  If you are willing to serve, complete the below 2024 Committee / Work Group Involvement Form.  Please select more than one committee or work group, in case your first choice is not available.

BUDGET & FINANCE COMMITTEE:
This committee meets at a minimum quarterly and is responsible for overseeing the finances of the Association and for the preparation of the annual budget.
BYLAWS & POLICY COMMITTEE:
This committee meets when Bylaws or Policy needs updating, or changes need to be made. Familiarity with and understanding of Association Bylaws and Policy will be required.

COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMITTEE:
This committee meets regularly to discuss ways to appropriate resources to help REALTORS® to give back to their community.  Community Services workgroups include Awards, Blood Drives, Adopt-a-Family, Bowl-a-Thon, Buddy Walk, Habitat for Humanity, REALTOR® Care Work Days, Ronald McDonald House and Tiny Homes.

     
MAKE-A-WISH WORK GROUP
This work group will meet and develop fund raising ideas and events to make a childs dream come true.  The goal is to raise $10,000 in 2024 (this is the average cost of one childs dream to come true).  The committee will choose a local child from Chatham, Effingham or Bryan County.
AFFILIATE COMMITTEE
The Affiliate Committee works to help affiliate members get the most for their membership and sponsorship/Corporate Ally dollars while providing valuable benefits to the REALTOR® members.  Example assignments include actively promoting upcoming events, community outreach and recognition programs with affiliate and REALTOR® contacts, as well as reviewing and providing feedback on advertising and sponsorship offerings.
AWARDS COMMITTEE
The Awards Committee meets as needed to plan and execute the Annual Awards Celebration.  This committee also meets to make recommendations on rules and policies for awards.  

DEI Committee (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are three closely linked values as our Association works to be supportive of different groups of individuals, including people of different races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, genders, and sexual orientation. This committee strives to create an all inclusive atmosphere through planning fun and informative events.

LOCKBOX COMMITTEE
The Lockbox Committee meets as needed to set the date for the annual Lockbox Audit.  They also work at the audit on a rotating schedule.  Committee members will meet to discuss any updates or changes to lockboxes or policies concerning lockboxes.
