What is this?

Try a dumb phone for 30 days and join a cohort of neighbors for monthly meet-ups, creative challenges, and mutual encouragement. If not now, when? It's part happy hour, part support group, part classroom. This is the very FIRST cohort of Month Offline Long Beach, Los Angeles, CA - we will be doing a modified/simpler version of the Month Offline program (the ones in DC/NYC are run by dumb.co in partnership with See What's Under studio, the Oakland group is organized by a volunteer.)

Where and when?

We will meet at Rose Park in Long Beach at July 22, 2026 at 7pm to kick off what will be a monthly meet up for those interested in joining this movement and wanting to be apart of community. 

How much does it cost?

It's free to join the Month Offline cohort! The dumb phone is $15.99-$29.99/month depending on which tier you choose and it's a 4 month membership, after that you can cancel. Month Offline is giving us a 2 month discount code, so total cost for 4 months will be $59.98 if you go with the highest tier. You can also bring your own dumb phone if you prefer.

How big will the group be?

I have no idea since this is the first time, but bring a friend, neighbor, family? Literally anyone who you think would be interested have them join. This is for everyone!

What can I expect from the in person meet ups?

It will be a group discussion centered around exploring life outside of screens, tapping into our creativity, and finding more joy and presence in our lives.
