We the People: Civics That Empowers All Students
Teacher Application and Agreement 2025-2026 - Cohort 3
Please note: This program is grant dependent.  It will run if CEAS is available!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of the We the People network, a nationwide K-12 civic education professional development and implementation network, impacting more than 100,000 teachers and 30 million students since inception! Through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, the We the People: Civics that Empowers All Students (CEAS) project supports teacher professional learning and classroom implementation for upper elementary and middle schools across all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The next teacher professional learning cohort begins with a summer institute from July 20-25, 2025 in Boston, MA.  If you are a teacher in grades 4-8 working with underserved populations, you could be eligible!  Participants receive stipends, a set of textbooks, free online resources, and rich opportunities for professional learning with scholars and mentor teachers. Please review our CEAS Northeast Flyer for more information! Please fill out this form to apply for the program.  Filling out this application does not bind you to attend the program or guarantee your acceptance.  Qualified applicants from each state will be admitted based on a first come, first serve basis.  So, apply early!
