Filling this form is necessary for all participants and presenters of the Dead Wood Meeting & Course 2021, and is required to provide you with the program and connection details. If you plan to present your study at the Dead Wood Meeting, you need to prepare your max 150 words abstract before filling this registration form - abstract is obligatory for all presenters: keynote, contributed, or lightning. Note that program
will be subject to frequent updates, but dates are fixed: the Dead Wood Meeting program will take place as online event on 26, 27, 28 October (Tue to Thu) from 9:00 till 17:00 CET with breaks.
On 25 Oct Mon and 29 Oct Mon Fri there will be satellite workshops on handling interactions data and dealing with interaction webs. It is only possible to participate in the workshops if you register and take part in the Dead Wood Meeting. There is no quota for the Dead Wood Meeting, but the number of places for each workshop is limited to 16 participants. Due to the nature of our funding applicants from Norway and from Russia will have priority.
The registration is open until 10 October. We will send confirmations, updated programme, and connection details before the Dead Wood Meeting will start. Presentation options at the Dead Wood Meeting on 26-28 October 2021. Please note that in case of very high interest you may end up with a shorter slot than you select here. Contributed talk is an option recommended for PhD students, postdocs and other researchers; lightning talks are suitable for bachelor and master students, as well as for PhD students who just started. Others can choose this short option, too.

It is likely that your presentation is result of a group work. Please indicate if you would like to earn credits (ECTS) for this course. Students that wish to earn credits are expected to attend all 3 days of the symposium, however the credits will be given only to those who either present a talk or participate in a workshop. Presenting a talk during the symposium is equivalent to 1 ECTS. Participation in each workshop is equivalent to 1 ECTS if the student delivers the assignment which should be approved by the workshop instructors. Credits are not registered with your student office, but a PDF certificate can be provided.
