As a volunteer for Downriver Foster Closet, I agree to abide by all applicable rules and regulations of organization. I understand that I will receive no monetary benefits in return for my volunteer service and the Downriver Foster Closet may terminate this agreement at any time without notice for any reason. I understand a criminal background check may be required for certain volunteer opportunities and  I hereby authorize Downriver Foster Closet to do a criminal background check if and when it is necessary. I understand than any misrepresentation or omission of facts on this application could be cause for rejection of this application or dismissal.I understand that after I submit my application, it will be reviewed and my eligibility for volunteer work will be determined. I agree to on-site orientation with a volunteer coordinator and on-site training specific to my volunteer responsibilities. I hereby release and waive liability against Downriver Foster Closet, a non-profit corporation, its directors, officers, employees and agents, for any injuries or illness that I myself or my dependent may suffer in connection with any volunteer work for Downriver Foster Closet. Further, I agree that Downriver Foster Closet is not liable for any damage to my property or my dependent's property resulting from volunteer work at Downriver Foster Closet.
