Findlay St. Michael | Caring for our Elderly & Vulnerable Parishioners
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
During this most unprecedented time, we are organizing a team of volunteers who will assist parishioners 65+ and others with compromising health conditions (who have been recommended NOT to leave their homes) by delivering groceries, running errands, or delivering a meal.
If you are a St. Michael's parishioner over the age of 65, or have a health condition which necessitates your immobility at this time, please fill out this form OR call the parish office at 419-422-2646. We will then pair you with a volunteer who will contact you to make arrangements to deliver your groceries, run simple errands, or deliver your meal.
Once we have received your information, you will receive a phone call from Fr. Kyle, Donna Zoll, or Courtney Popenberg with the contact information of the parishioner(s) who will be assisting you.
PLEASE NOTE: You WILL be expected to reimburse the individual delivering your groceries or meal by means of cash or check. You can negotiate the terms/logistics with the individual(s) who will be serving you.
It will also be important to practice social distancing during this initiative. An example could be groceries and/or supplies being left on the doorstep, as well as payment being taped to the front door. Volunteers and those being served can negotiate the logistics in order to keep both parties safe.
We are not in need of monetary donations for this initiative. This is purely based on reimbursements.
God bless you as we weather this pandemic together!
