Below you will find a copy of the agreement for Maker's Market to be held on Sunday, November 8th, 2026. Please read the agreement in its entirety. Signing with your email address and submission of your application means that you agree to all of the following rules and regulations.
Our mission is to promote local Catholic creators within the St. Louis region, to cultivate a greater appreciation for the Catholic faith through Sacred and God-inspired art, and to bring all people together to admire the beauty that God inspires. Our artists are Catholic, but do not all create Catholic art. They create a variety of work from secular to religious work, done by hobbyists or full-time artists and everything in between.
This year, in place of Catholic Art Festival -our juried, outdoor fine art event- we will be hosting a non-juried, indoor event for all kinds of creatives- fine art, crafts, photography, writers, musicians, bakers, etc. We are excited to host this event so as to better highlight all of the incredible talent we have in our community and it's wide array of mediums just in time for the Advent/Christmas. We expect this event to be a great one-stop-shop for anyone who loves to support local Catholics.
Applications are due by October 24th, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. One artist/company per application. (2 individual artists are not allowed to share a booth unless part of a business collaboration). Upon submitting your application, our team will review your application and inform you of your acceptance into the event pending confirmation that there is enough space to accommodate you. Spaces will be held on a first come first serve basis based on registration and timely payment. You will be informed by “catholicartistnetwork@gmail.com” within the week of your application being submitted. Please be sure to check your spam folder if you cannot locate the email.
FEE CHART:
Standard Space (includes 1 6' x 2.5' table, 2 chairs) - $60
Student Discounted Fee (allows emerging artists from any high school to share a space with other student artists) - $30
Payment must be received no later than 5 days after receiving your application acceptance notice. The email will contain the total amount owed and payment method(s). Payment must be received to be guaranteed a spot in the event. DO NOT PAY BEFORE YOU RECEIVE YOUR APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE. If there is a delay in payment after that date, you will not be guaranteed a space and will be placed on a wait list.
Once you have been accepted and your fee has been paid, there will be NO REFUNDS in part or in total for any reason if the event is held as scheduled.
***AGREEMENT***
Though the goal of the event is to support local Catholic creators, your work DOES NOT have to be explicitly Catholic or even religious in theme. We welcome and enjoy a vast array of topics within the art created in our community. The event is a family-friendly event. Work displayed must be appropriate for display and not contain themes that go against church teaching. If unsure of what is considered appropriate, please ask us. If found offensive, you will not be a selected artist for the event or, if the day of the event, will be required to remove said artwork.
Work must be original and hand-crafted (with a few exceptions, i.e. photography). No AI (artificial intelligence) is allowed in art production. Work that is prefabricated prior to the artist’s personal touch is not acceptable. Pieces should be entirely “made from scratch” so to speak. Exception given with photography and digital artwork if professionally printed with same standards of originality, creativity and quality remaining. Artists must guarantee the accuracy of the description of the works presented and the authenticity of the work as the creation of their own hands.
Commercial studios involved in volume production will not be considered.
All work must be displayed in an appropriate and safe environment. Feel free to bring display cases, shelving, stands, hangers, etc. to display your work or to maximize your space. Each creator is responsible for the cleanliness and safety of their exhibit area. Personal and Liability Insurance is the responsibility of each creator. It is recommended but not required. Catholic Artist Network will not be held responsible for any damages or theft.
Prior to the event, we will share a map via email of the event which will include your assigned space number. Upon arrival, you may begin setup once you’ve found your space; signs with your number will be posted on each space. If having issues, questions or needing help, please visit the Welcome table. Creators can arrive for setup by 7:00 AM and all exhibits must be ready by 10:00 AM; please plan ahead to determine the amount of setup time you need to be ready by 10:00 AM.
The event ends at 5:00 PM and your space must be empty and clean by 6:00 PM. Volunteers will assist with tear down of event provided materials (tables and chairs). All creators are responsible for their own area and belongings.
Sale of your work is expected. No commissions will be charged on sales. YOU MUST ARRANGE YOUR OWN METHOD(S) OF PAYMENT FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS. We will not provide payment processing equipment.
Note that we will be updating the Catholic Artist Network website as we get closer to the event.
