BU Student Government Academic Affairs: Academic Club Grant Competition
The Student Government Academic Affairs Department would like to assist underfunded student organizations in making a big impact for their members, and on campus. To do this we have created a Grant Competition for student organizations. Student organizations will have the opportunity to submit an idea for a major academic-themed event or initiative that they would like to push. The event should benefit not only the group's members but also the greater BU community. The best ideas will be given funding, Student Government resources, as well as collaboration/support to implement their event!

We are looking for events that are related to academics/academic life, that will attract many students, and that will highlight the mission of your student organization. The grant award will be $1000 with additional value in volunteers and experience. In summary, we are looking for clubs who are ready to take their organization to the next level, who have interesting, innovative ideas instead of the typical events, and who would truly benefit from this grant. We highly discourage fundraising events.

The submission deadline is February 28th. Winners will be notified in mid-March.
