Archdeacons' Articles of Inquiry 2019 - Diocese of Manchester

May we take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done in Christ’s service as Churchwardens in the last year – and to thank you in advance for completing our Articles of Inquiry.

The questions we raise originate from many people within the diocese and the information you provide will be used to give a clearer picture of ministry and mission, and to focus help back to parishes. We appreciate that some questions ask for quite detailed information, and we ask you to answer as fully as you can. You may wish to involve your PCC or Standing Committee in completing the form rather than tackling it by yourselves.

Please will you make sure that our Articles of Inquiry are completed in full and returned to your Archdeacon’s office (at the address given below) by Friday, 3rd May 2019.

If you have any queries about the questions contained in these Articles of Inquiry, please contact us directly.

We look forward to seeing all those elected to serve as Churchwardens, Sideswomen and Sidesmen together with PCC members at our Visitations in May. In the meantime, we continue to hold you in our prayers, and ask that you pray for us as we seek to serve Christ and his Church.

With our prayers and good wishes.

Archdeacon David Sharples (davidsharples@manchester.anglican.org)
Archdeacon Cherry Vann (cherryvann@manchester.anglican.org)
Archdeacon Karen Lund (karenlund@manchester.anglican.org)
Archdeacon Jean Burgess (jeanburgess@manchester.anglican.org)

Please note: most of the answers required in this form are mandatory. If you do not have any information to give, please write N/A or Not Applicable.

Please ensure that these Articles of Inquiry are completed and returned to your Archdeacon by Friday, 3rd May 2019.
