Need a free Lyft ride in Shawnee? Simply complete the form, and our United Way team will schedule your ride. Once it’s arranged, you’ll receive a text message with the details.  This is meant to be a short-term solution for your transportation needs.

For everyone’s safety, rides should not be scheduled during severe weather such as snow, ice, tornadoes, or major storms. Early morning, late night, and overnight rides are not always available due to limited driver availability. We ask that you try to schedule at least 24 hours in advance. Requests submitted on weekends, holidays, or after business hours will be reviewed the following business day.

By scheduling a ride through United Way’s Ride United program, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that it is my responsibility to cancel my ride if it is no longer needed.

If I fail to cancel a ride and Lyft charges United Way a “no-show” fee, I may become ineligible to schedule future rides through the Ride United program.

I understand that repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension from the program.
