Description: HepCAP will establish a steering committee to oversee the execution of annually established organizational goals. The steering committee will serve to improve decision-making processes, increase stakeholder engagement, build functional capacity, and increase operational transparency. Activities may include but are not limited to educational campaigns, events coordination, fundraising, policy/advocacy, reviewing public statements.
Time Commitment: Four quarterly steering committee meetings a year minimum, outside of HepCAP.
Requirements: HepCAP is looking for applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. Those applying should have basic working knowledge of hepatitis C, awareness of hepatitis C policy, and experience working in a community facing, collaborative environment. All steering committee members must be able to meet the time commitments of the steering committee.
Terms of Office: Steering Committee members will serve for a minimum of two years, with an ability to renew for a maximum of four terms.
