NASA Spotlite Production Focus Group Application 2019-2020 SY

NASA eClips™and ITEEA invite digital media teachers to participate in a study. As part of an evaluation study, these teachers will implement the NASA Spotlite Design Challenge with at least 20 students (ages 13 - 18) during the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year and share their observations about this implementation with an evaluator.

This group will run from September through December 2019 to implement and provide feedback on the NASA Spotlite design challenge.

Teachers within this study must commit to:
-Pre and post teacher surveys with the evaluator
-100% student pre and post survey completion
-Following the design challenge implementation protocol

The design challenge can be integrated into your curriculum and provide your students with a real-world and authentic video production experience that includes student research, storyboarding, script writing, filming, editing, and production. To compensate you for your time, you will be given a $300 stipend after successfully completing the challenge, gathering the required data, and completing all evaluation requirements.
