Spencer County Humane Society Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic
All are welcome to the services. Any city, town or county we welcome you.

Need to Know for Cats:

Cats/Kittens MUST be in a CAT carrier.

NO DOG Carriers/Cages/Kennels allowed

Carriers must be respectable in size to pet.

(You will be turned away)

(No more than 1 PER carrier)

No SOFT carriers allowed.

(You will be turned away.)

Cats/Kitten must be in reasonable health in order to have the surgery safely done.
Cats/Kittens must be 3lbs before a surgery can be safely done.
Females who have recently had a litter MUST be 2 weeks from the last time they nursed.
Drop off time is from 6AM to 9AM (No earlier - No later)
Pick-ups are from 5pm-6pm (No Later) 
Pets MUST fast (no food) for 6 hours before surgery

** Other services can be requested for time of surgery.  


Cats MUST be in a carrier when entering the building
NO Dog crates are allowed for cats.
Carrier must be sized to the pet.
Drop off time is from 6am-9am (5-minute grace period)
Pick up time is from 4pm-5pm (No grace period for pick up later than 5pm)
Payment is due at time of drop off.
Any additional charges are to be paid before pet is released.


TNR:
TNR cats MUST come in a humane live trap.
(Traps should be 2-3 feet in length and 9-12 inches in width and height)
If they come to us in a cat carrier the full personal pet charges will be applied
Left ear of cat will be tipped (This is done during surgery)



** We require payment that is non-refundable non-transferable for all appointments. All funds are non-refundable/Transferable
